Anybody use Moneybookers?

I've seen some people here selling, who prefer Moneybookers for payment. Is it as reliable as paypal in terms of refund etc?

I'm a little worried about alternative payment channel to paypal right now. Seeing that liberty reserve was just taken down for money laundering .....

I use MoneyBookers which is now known as "Skrill' and have absolutely no problem at all. Paypal is better in terms of acceptance by other companies while shopping etc. Almost all accept Paypal but Skrill is growing slowly. Their Refund Policy is also good. Just shoot an email to the customer service if you need more info.Hope this helps to clear your doubts.

I think Moneybooker or Skrill should be ok, they are very strict with verification, you need to verify your address, your bank account, your credit card etc to get a reasonable sending and receiving limit. But good in the sense that there are efforts to know the user instead of letting them be anonymous which will surely put you in FBI black list.

I have been using MoneyBooker for quite sometime and I think it is fine. The only problem is that when you are not a VIP member limits can be big problem specially if you are doing transactions involving bigger amount. But all in all it is good and much better than other method like payza.

I have used it, it was good until they locked my fully verified account and asked to send documents again by mail. I stopped using it from then.

Moneybooker is good since they don't charge much compared with Paypal, but problem is many companies prefer Paypal while working.

Hence,I recommend to all DP members to have Paypal account.

MoneyBookers/Skrill is a good and reliable payment processor and is similar to PayPal in many ways, except for the fact that I believe MoneyBookers has a better and more efficient customer service. A lot of people who can't use PayPal in their own countries use MoneyBookers as a popular alternative and I believe this is why a lot of people enjoy and continue to use the service.

I have tried paypal and moneybookers both. Moneybookers (or called skrill now) charges one time fee every month. The product I was selling was costing $15 and if I had only one sale then I got nothing :)
But if your sales are high then you will find skrill useful. But of course paypal is widely known. Now the choice is yours :)

We threw out Moneybookers out of all our businesses after they just decided to close our account because 'hosting' was in violation with their new policies.
After used them for 5+ years and never had a single issue with chargeback, abuse or any other valid reason to get disconnected, I was quite surprised they just decided to do that.

I wouldn't recommend them at all to anyone after this experience we had.

I am for long time. No problem. Usually use this for purchasing . Load money from my credit card. Paypal is not available in my country.
