    Mines is either; Fawlty Towers or Only fools and horses.

    Is it not American?

    As for British, Only Fools and Horses has to be one of the best (if not the best). Auf Wiedersehen Pet is also very, very good.

    Mine is the Sherlock Holmes BBC series. The idea is novel plus the characters are really great.

    Have you noticed a lot of the shows mentioned in this thread are American ones? I would even put Game of Thrones in that category, regardless of where it was filmed.
