Do any of you use pinterest? i mainly stick to twitter, facebook and google+ I am wondering what seo especially can be benefitted from posting multiple links on pinterest? It is a great looking site, but imagery is obviously the name of the game.
I'm not sure about the benefits of SEO with Pinterest. But I've found it to be a useful marketing tool and have gotten some nice quality traffic from Pinterest. I wouldn't scratch it off your list entirely.
I also use pinterest as it helps me to increase traffic towards my site by just sharing images, pining them, repin others posts, like and comment on them..Adding a link of my own site at the end of description of my sites images before posting any image with other..I also create boards on the name of my site's keywords and invite my all friends to join and like my board and its posts..
You HAVE to use Pinterest. Name a board the keyword phrase and then pin your pages into that board. Within days you could see that board listed in google top ten
I have never been banned. Worst thing that happens to me is the link gets ghosted or the ban the URL. There are many url redirects you can use to get around it
Pinterest is good for wallpaper website. Blog post with images are useful to get more traffic from pinterest. Pinterest is not famous in my country ,so i ignore it.
Reason I ask is that when it first started it was invite only and they seemed to be quite zealous in their efforts to keep the quality of the postings high. I have had it for a while but have been cautious how I use. It brings modest traffic. Don't think I have seen any directly attributable SERPs improvements by using it, though I may monitor that more closely now. Thanks!
Well, I don't use Pinterest, but I would like to know your views if traffics from Pinterest convert good.. let me know.
Yes. I use Pinterest. Pinterest is a better option for product business and not good for a service based business. We knows that basically Pinterest is a photo-sharing site. I cant say perfectly interest is good for SEO or not, but its useful to drive traffic to your website/blog.
Pinterest is a great way to promote content on your site, but this is not applicable to all sites. If you're selling crafts or into photography, then sharing your images through Pinterest would help a lot in getting traffic to your site. Have a good day!
hello dear: google in seo love pinterest and when am search about my keyword on google search am found my pinterest account then more organic traffic come to my website have a nice day
Yep, I use Pinterest and I love it. Only about 10-15% of my Pinterest use is for my business and the rest is either somewhat related to my business or my other interests. Too much self-promotion is frowned on over there.
yes using all top social media sites will drive maximum traffic i believe. But the content should be interesting so that it could get higher views...
So if I am starting a pintrist page for a knitting business, you all would recommend putting up pins of the products we sell as well as general interest knitting pins?
Hmm, I'm not sure about the SEO benefits of it, but we know Google loves social proof, so there must be some social benefits to posting on pinterest. Other than that, I use pinterest to drive traffic to my money sites/blogs. If you have a blog in a popular women's niche, like fashion, beauty or weight loss, you can bank a lot from pinterest. You'll be amazed at the amount of traffic you can get from pinterest; I was when I first started it. All you have to do is gather up some quality pictures and post them in a timely manner in your pinterest account (with a link leading to your money site, a click through link). I advise you to create a new board for every niche you start. Also, pinterest is strict about multiple accounts, so I suggest you don't go that route until you have the necessary precautions. As far as I've seen, one quality account with quality boards in a couple of niches works way better than a lot of accounts. Make sure you post the images in the correct category. If people like your images, they'll follow your boards, it's as simple as that. Hope that helped.
