    He will absolutely run for president in 2016. He has launched himself to the national spotlight with his famous filibuster. He is a great GOP candidate. More socially liberal, but a strong fiscal conservative. He is the perfect guy to grab more of the young vote.

    His dad had a passionate following, but could never gain mainstream support due to his extreme stances on foreign policy issues. Rand Paul is not such an isolationist.

    That makes no sense. Rand Paul is a doctor. Ron Paul is a doctor. Same business? They were/are both Senators? Still same business.

    I haven't followed Cruz much, but I really enjoyed watching him debate Dianne Feinstein on the gun laws.


    I read a couple days ago about another congressman saying that Cruz should not be considered hispanic, since he was not supporting the immigration reform. Apparently you have to meet certain political criteria to belong to a race these days. If you don't like Obama you can't be black, and if you are against amnesty you can't be a hispanic.

    Cruz has a resume Obama wishes he had, both scholastically and career wise. Those calling him a lunatic are simply ignorant of his background. Hes also a skilled and experienced politician, unlike Paul or Rubio. He is also very strong on the civil liberties and 2nd amendment arguments.

    We shall see as more information comes out about him whether he will end up disqualifying himself based on some perceived hypocrisy, or perhaps by mishandling his views on abortion, but as far as I can tell right now, he is looking like the best Republican candidate for 2016.


    A rather new twist on the name "Uncle Tom". Liberals are some of the most racist people I know.

    Haha. Too good. He's kind of a funny looking guy, if you ask me. My wife said she wouldn't vote for him because he isn't hot enough.

    Sheesh, I think this pageant is too early to judge. We haven't even gotten to the swimsuit competition yet. :)
