I would only receive full rights if I paid for the idea. Also, I dont see hows it fishy, because lots of people pay for ideas and lots of individuals sell their ideas (goes for VC as well).
Just earlier today I said that there were no unique / quality ideas and thus no one was paid. I am VERY picky when it comes to the ideas. Anyways, the thread is over here (as I've already stated a few times), because I have a small team working on things internally. Thanks.
Who ever send you their ideas, I feel sorry for them. As mentioned here before by someone, you can simply use those ideas without paying a dime to anybody. And please don't reply back by saying you are an honest person. You probably have tons of ideas there, that are waiting to be developed. Did you find your idea? Did you pay anyone for it?
Im really sorry you feel that way, its really is a shame. Had 60 ideas sent in, but all of them, after some research were either no unique or did not have a way to monetie - thus they were not worth my time and investment. Im not looking for a $50 forum launch, I was willing to pay $5,000 for that great idea with $XX,XXX waiting to be invested. As I said, I have a small team thinking of ideas. And yes, Im going to say Im an honest person. Take a look at my past threads. I have giving away (for free) consulting, domain suggestions, domain appraisals, and even domains / websites. Why would I steal someones idea that wouldnt make me money? Please dont question my character when you do not even know me. if you would like to get to know me, send me a PM with your AIM, phone number, or location (im in Toledo, Ohio) and we can chat about websites or something like that. Just to let you know, Im an honors college student and Eagle Scout. EDIT: Looks like you edited your post. Ive posted about three times now saying there were no unique / quality ideas that were worth the investment. No ideas will be used and no money was paid. And yes, I do have a ton of ideas that are waiting to be developed, but not by me. For nearly every idea that sent in I replied with my thoughts, how they could get funding and develope the site themself to persue their own dream and idea.
I never questioned your personality and i am not in position to do so. All I said don't reply with a pathetic answer by saying you are an honest person. I can't judge if you are or not.

Ok. Im glad you question, thats good to see in a person. If you ever want to chat about websites, send me a PM. That really goes for anyone. Websites have been my passion for just over seven years now (thats why I spend 4-6 hours on DP a day) and I always love talking about them.
Well, it seemed fishy in the way that I mentioned I would have numerous unique ideas for you... However, you weren't interested in having a discussion, only having me write up a business plan of sorts and send it to you... IMO, that is not the way to go... but that's your perrogative. To the others here, you could try toning it down a little - thread trashing gets you nowhere. Constructive critism and discussions need not include trashing - drigg, I'm sorry you had to deal with all the trashing. I do not see anything you are doing as wrong - only it does not coincide with how I would do things, therefore I did not send you any ideas. No harm no foul. Edit: after some of the edits, there seems to be very little trashing left... that's good Anywho, this thread is over and done with - so I'll just leave it that way. Happy upcoming Holidays everyone!
After going back to your first post, I must have misread it. I thought you were offering website management services to me. I appologize for this. I dont need detailed reports, which will help to protect your idea (and why I want it via Pm and not instant messanger - paper trail). If you have an idea that's worth 5,000 dollars, chances are you could make a hell of a lot more developing it yourself.
Ideas alone are worth nothing. What matters is how you market and execute that idea. I remember when the very first Ipod came out, before anyone knew what an Ipod was, everyone made fun of my friend for having one because it didn't let you play a CD. No one tried to copy the idea until Apple marketed it correctly and it went viral.
Everyone who PMed to drig should post their ideas to this thread so you can find partners to work with you, other people who want to buy your ideas and to help give drig some competition when he starts using your ideas.
The best idea on this thread was the one that said "send me all your ideas and I will pay you 5k". I cant belive so many people fell for that one. "Im very picky with my ideas and the thread is now closed", thats a good get out clause. Why is the thread closed if you are a genuine person looking for new ideas that you are prepared to pay for? Surely you are still looking if you have had 60 and not found one?
Because, as Ive said, I have a small internal team working on ideas. And for those ideas that I didnt choose, Ill make a little write up here how you can go about getting funding so you can start your site.
