I used to be able to post a site for sale, then come in and edit it if I need to change something. Now, there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to put up old entries here. They've been rendered untouchable. How annoying.
Yeah, it's been a while, but not such an extremely long while. Is DigitalPoint under new ownership or management? Why has it become so rigid? They've also erased all of the positive feedback I'd earned.
itrader is gone, feedback is not, its just "likes" now... Just hang tight for a while. When cron job runs you should start getting likes etc. Its just so the server didn't have to change a ton of stuff at once. You should be all set pretty quickly. It takes about an hour once you have logged back in to the new system. All is well Nigel
Yup, finding the new system somewhat annoying as well. Like you, I haven't been on here for a while, and came back on to find that despite having sold content creation services for a couple of years, I couldn't even post in the marketplace any more. More than a little bit tempted to move elsewhere, but at the same time I've always liked the people on here.
I am actually liking the new design. I haven't lost any of the feedback. I think the DP devs aren't done with updating the site, which is understandable as DP is a huge forum. Have a good day!
Your legacy itrader score is shown under your marketplace tab. As members were told two years ago, itrader would be going away and replaced by instant pay. Reputation was imported as likes, the currency used to become an established member. See FAQ regarding established membership.
You should be able to edit it for 8 hours just like the old system. As far as "putting up old entries", if you mean bumping the thread, you can also do that just like the old system with the "Bump" button.
It couldn't access, bump, and edit older entries. Whatever the case may be, I'll adjust to whatever changes there are. I spoke too hastily. Shouldn't have said anything at all.
What error do you get when you try to bump or edit exactly? Both of those should work exactly like in the old system.
Whats with all these threads about people not being able to post, surely they would have figured out/seen the giant banner that hovers over areas of the site explaining about 'Established members'.
I was an established member, with enough posts and whatnot, but became "de-established" after changes were made.
In the old system, I could edit after I bumped the message. As far as I can tell -- now, bumping only bumps it, with no functionality to edit message other than change terms of sale, price and whatnot.
