    For the high end user, the domain might be worth a couple hundreds, but definitely not in the $X,XXX.

    I am a member of http://www.namepros.com/ and have been dealing with over 300 domains so far, some valuable some less valuable. Ask the guys back there to appraise the domain for you.

    IMHO, you'd be lucky to get $80 - $100 for this particular domain.

    This might be a good domain for a URL shortening service. But yes, I too agree with broalex. If you need to sell this for 2,500/= setup a URL shortening website, get couple of bloggers to blog about your service, have real users using your service, and post in "website for sale" section. I have seen very expensive 3 letter domains but most of them are coms and nets.

    Anyway good luck with the sale...

    it's never a bad idea to try and ask but ask for a decent amount, only after getting a professional appraisal.

    agree with @broalex .ma domain names doens't worth more then $50, only .com/.ca/.net/.org other... worth $XXX,XXX more.

    I decided to start a URL shorten service, I already coded a custom rubyonrails app, maybe going to list the website for sell after 2-4 months
