lol! good thing you spelled SEO right. @OP, local SEO is optimizing your site for local promotion. RD pretty much said it all. most of the business are small businesses and majority of them are catering to local customers. a local dentist, florist, home renovator, auto repair shop, you get the idea. all these people server locally and therefore need to promote their business locally. thats where local SEO comes to play. you optimize your site and promote it in a way so that people in your locality find your site when they search for the product/services you offer.
