We've all been in the position where we want to visit a page without revealing our own IP. This actually happened to me a while ago and I got around it using this trick and I hope it helps you out too. Basically, if we want to hide or unban our IP on "test.com" we'll simply write in: http://unbanip.com/test.com It works on pretty much any device that supports online browsing (even worked on my PS3). Now if you're really interested you can even change the country of the IP (I think you can chose between United States, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Canada).
That will not change your IP. Please elaborate. Instead of opening up your settings, finding a proxy that works, and finally using it, you can simply go to http://unbanip.com/SITE.COM Also, I doubt that a proxy will load the page that fast.
It has to be used in conjunction with your Facebook account. Also it really isn't "white hat" if you think about it. If you're banned and are attempting to masquarade your IP address to create another profile, isn't that unethical?
This doesn't have any dependencies and I don't know what you mean with the Facebook account (no Facebook account is required whatsoever). If I you have a rock, you can either kill someone with it or you use it for other matters. Awesome, glad to hear!
Absolutely none. However, you're stating that the use of an IP change is only for places that you've previously been banned from; that is not the case.
I find it interesting that you joined DP only a week ago. And *one of your first threads* is about how you can hide your true IP address. Yep, you certainly are a welcome addition.
Spoiltdiva: I don't understand this "if you don't do anything bad you have nothing to hide" mindset. You can use a knife to kill someone or just to spread butter onto a slice of bread. Why should using a proxy imply that the person using it has bad intentions? It was a reference to the term "white hat" that you used in the thread title. BTW over the last year I have been writing a blogpost about my experiences with being anonymous on the internet. Hopefully I will finish it in a couple of weeks and publish it on my blog.
Why not just use hidemyass VPN pro? Changes more than just an ip, even masks your MAC address for a Real Hide.
Ah, haha! Exactly that is what I'm saying, he probably had a bad day or something. Your MAC address is only useful if you're on the same router/network. What's faster, connecting through a VPN or adding "unbanip.com/" before the URL?
