#1 Top SEO Tips, best SEO tips, The DP SEO Tip Thread Top tips for getting found on Google. I thought it might be nice and helpful if people tried their best to add one top SEO tip they have learned in order to build a nice informative thread. So you could just do like this > Top SEO Tip #1 "Page Title" Your page title is A1 number 1 the first place to begin your SEO from the very first word. There are many reasons for this and those reasons include that the page title is the first thing readers see when they are looking for things in search engines. Those "titles" get words picked out and highlighted in search results. The titles are what the reader sees and reads first and the first thing both human and robot (search engines spiders) use in order to make out the context of a page. For search purposes the nearer to the beginning your keywords are the quicker readers (both types) are likely to know if your page is "relevant" or not. And that is tip #1 Your page title is A1 number 1 the most important place to begin your on page SEO. please add tip #2 if you would be so kind...
couldn't agree more. So many people forget just how important their titles are and simply duplicate. Unique and optimised titles are certainly crucial
Hey Revelations, I have heard of these titles from my friends..Are these Ok to use? Or not? Brand name/Company name | Primary keyword and Secondary keyword Or Primary keyword - Secondary keyword | Brand name/Company name Which one better to use..Or if any one can give me some other method then it will be greatly appreciated..
I usually go for > Primary keyword - Secondary keyword | Brand name/Company name But I tend to use a comma > Primary keyword, <<
You tell me > Here is G UK one search result example Don't go using the words from results in thread please... 5 of the results on that page 1 are mine btw
No worries afoley77 I have hundreds like that. I try and do SEO to gain page 1 sesarch results, after all to do SEO to get page 2 or below is a bit of a pointless exercise (IMHO) to say the least as hardly anyone is finding those further down (comparatively). So next SEO Tip is SEO Tip 2 we need to get in place, so who is going to give tip 2 a go? I think SEO tip 1 is pretty clear now yes?
Yes, It is pretty clear now, but i want other members suggestions on this same thread, so we all can get more and more...And also waiting for SEO tip 3....
My SEO tips is for all intermediate level of SEO guys.Old conventional methods of link building still works but better always looks for Link earning Opportunity rather than building it.If not always build links the tricky way.Onsite optimization guide from Google Webmaster SEO guide is enough to answer it.
So do you want to add SEO tip 2 for on page SEO following on from the "title" tip then zeshan-noor-wahgra? This thread is to build tips (back to pure basics) about on site SEO elements not link building please....
Surely I want to add in but this tip is what every one will discuss after Penguin 4. Actually what we usually discuss in tips are past methods of TITLE/Description but as more and more we are moving to social media so we have to also check in either our URL/Title are shareable/Tweetable etc. Regarding title surely its still the most Important onsite ranking factor in my view.Try to add in Main keyword twice in your title.Above the fold data surely key so do try to repeat this main keyword once there also.Meta description I shall surely say we have to add on keyword there also but not always. If you want to add keyword in meta description make sure you add it in such a way to make it looks natural. For all those gurus who tell the world keyword density must be 5% no one even MATT to RAND no one says a single keyword density percentage for content.
OK back to tip 1 and the title then. I don't think you really got my idea for this thread though as it's not anything to do with discussing past methods. Updates neither as Penguins nor Pandas, Vinces nor other names update are not our subjects here. anyway to make your mention of repeating words clear to others... Repeating keywords in title can be good "at times" though, that is for sure. However not too much. I can show an example of re-using title focus words in repitition to enable people to see what you may have been referring to > Good SEO, find a good SEO to hire That can be a way to repeat your first focus words in a title with the two words "Good SEO". So we are now even clearer on "title" usage. Perhaps SEO tip 2 should be about "description"? Anyone like to begin tip 2 (remaining on track until tip 3)?
