Hey everyone, I'm looking for some help/suggestions to help improve my income online. I'm not expecting to get rich or even quit my job at this point. I just need to see some kind of success online. I've made a few forum websites and blogs and at one point had a forum with about 100 active members. I've implemented ad sense on a few sites I've had an have never earned more then a dollar a day. I know both HTML and CSS pretty well but I feel I need to know more to start making some kind of income online. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to start earning? Much of my problem is I don't know how to get traffic to my sites very well. I'm willing to learn I'm just looking for the right place to do so. Thanks
There are a two good ways to make money online, which require no effort after the sale has been made. 1) Affiliate program 2) Sell an intangible product (such as eBook) Other than that, if you're willing to put forth effort from start to finish, you could offer your own services to write articles or review sites or do things for people which they find tedious. Manage their eBay accounts, post on craigslist for them, etc etc. Hope this helps you get you started!
What is your forum and blogs about? You can put some affiliate banners for your niche on your site. For the traffic, you can do SEO, Video marketing, forum marketing, and so many else. It really depends on your niche..
Hi my friend, in fact, the profit from the Internet is a very broad area depends on your profile if you're adept at programming, you can gain a lot through the Web or if you are a successful marketer you can still engage in the marketing of products. It depends on you
At the moment I don't really have a Niche. I'm trying to figure out exactly where my place is. And where would the best place to start learning SEO in your opinion be? Appreciate the help.
Since you know HTML and CSS very well, then sign yourself up for an account on Elance, Odesk and other freelance sites and start bidding on work. Developers are always in need. You will make much more money doing that kind of work than trying to squeeze a few dollars a day from Adsense.
I actually checked that out. I think its a little out of my skill set at the moment. Any other suggestions?
If you don't have the discipline or experience you can configure a group of friends to help and search activity and work on Blogger blog and useful topics you choose
You don't have to bid on jobs that are very difficult, you can do more basic webmaster stuff, like installing and configuring scripts, making basic HTML code changes, updating sites, etc.
I would learn email marketing. It's not the easiest method to pull off profitably, and it's not the fastest way. But in my opinion it's the best method to generate traffic on demand, and has been for well over 10 years. Just think about it for a minute. All the famous gurus promote the "new hype" products, but they promote it and tell you about it via email. Food for thought, right? So, invest time studying email marketing; find out who the leaders in your niche are and join their email lists. Then take copious notes.
If you have HTML and CSS skills, why not go to Warrior Forum and sign up in Warriors for Hire section. You could also register at Odesk or Elance and offer your skills there. If you have other skills advertise those as well.
build a list and market via this list. Or comment in forums help others and drive quality traffic to your sites
Many people can relate to how you feel. I too feel this way sometimes about earning online. But every time I feel this way I go back and read this book called "Go Givers Sell More". You can pick it up on Amazon or buy the audio book like I did. It will explain to you how making money should always be your second question. That the first & real question should always be how can I serve more people. Once you find out how you can serve more people the money will follow. So what I am asking you now is What can you do online to serve more people?
I agree with jmedrano. Good advice. The best way to start to make money online is to fulfil a need or want for people or to solve a problem for them. If you can write a short ebook on "How I Conquered Back Pain in Five Days" and then upload it to Amazon, you can be guaranteed that people will want to learn how to do that. My best advice is: find a problem. Solve it. Market it to people who need the answer. Money comes when you help people.
There are many ways to earn online & the best simple way is by creating classifieds ads site with the best classifieds software . with the best classifieds software you can have a good return on investment. Drive more traffic to your classifieds site by doing seo & you can earn more revenue.
In my opinion, high quality content can bring you tons of traffic, high quality traffic also. they will bring you money. For your forums, you may think something like interest activity to encourage members to post original threads.
Well I feel I can help people edit/manage their website with my knowledge of HTML and CSS. But my question is, is there people looking for this type of service on the internet? If so where is the best place to find them?
Well, I've been in a niche for a while now and recently, someone came up with an awesome product that is a CPA and commission based. It's really valuable and gives me a great returns. A 50% commission on this high end product gives me between $100-150 per sale. So I restructured my blog to work around this and even released a report around it and some other affiliate things. So, that's my advise, find a good high end product, write a report about it's possibilities and talking of how you did soiemthign with it. Build your funnel around it and once it's a success, start building the next 'business'.
