Tons of fake PRs?

    I am suprised why people buying links on fake PRs? Example today again i recived list of tons PR8, PR9, PR10 fakes sites..

    750 USD / year for link on these sites:
    PR9: bigdataevolution.com
    PR9: odder.net
    PR9: interneteve.com
    Check sidebars how many people bought links there...

    I often recive offers like this from india, pakistan, philippines,..

    But why somene is buying this s**t? Link here can harm and damage your site and someone is paying for that? WHY?!

    People get easily carried away with the numbers Focl.

    PR though has very little to do with good SEO these days. PageRank is just one small metric among hundreds these days when it comes to SERPS.

    But if they care only about PR... then why they dont chceck incoming backlinks of sites where they want to buy links? It is extremly easy to check if PR is or isnt fake...

    Who knows, but then why have you linked those sites? That's tantamount to trolling for them it's self is it not? Perhaps you should unlink them?

    And you thought advertising them and linking them (for free?) is a good way to express that then yes? Delete would be my reaction if my forum...

    Hmm why do you think I advertising them? I dont think that someone with clear mind will buy links there... I wrote it can harm your site, do you think that is advertising?
    (and URLs are nofollow)

    that's good that you unlinked them Sir and as the last poster also interjected people don't have time sometimes they just click and also people are sometimes just a little too stupid...


    we have all not read things b4 clicking at somepoint

    look at how shortned URL's are somehow OK these days here and there. Twitter for example. Though of course slightly off track & somewhat off topic there but I am sure you get what I mean?...

    +1 ,exactly same thing i am explaining to every friend to mine that PR has no impact on visitors and content .You have to do hard-work to get real-visitors and finally sales .
