I am doing all SEO activity for my keyword - Conveyor Belt since 4 months but not getting good results in google.co.in Now its on 330th position. I have done classified, social bookmarking, business directory, directory submission, article submission in high PR site. Other keywords have good ranking but only 2-3 keywords are not coming in top 10. I am targeting http://www.cbc.in/cbcindia-products/conveyor-belt.htm this url for my keyword. Please check it & suggest me some on-page & off page activity which i need to try to boost this keyword google search engine.
To start off with stop using the word "converyor belt" on others sites like DP in thread titles as if you had written "Conveyor Belt, conveyor belt help" you would perhaps learn a very long lasting lesson where not to use your keywords. We all learn from mistakes though, but be careful where you use your keywords off site. I didn't take much of a look but tbh the English is not good in your pages description to start with and if it is that one particular search term you are targetting for that page the title could also be written better. I could explain more but alas this is not my forum >

I do agree with above comments !! Stop generating back links for this single keywords, use different variations and also try to generate quality backlinks as classified, directories and PR links are not that much important.
Sure you want to increase your ranking, as you have gone through so many pages to figure out you have the 330th result. As far as I recall, there is no software to go that far. As for some advice, your keyword density for word conveyor is ~ 19% and for the belt is ~ 14%. These should be below 2%! Basically search engines think you're spamming them right now. Add more text to this page and cut down the number of mentioned words. Best of luck.
i think your keyword is generic and your work in India so lot of compaction so you need to change your keyword or try to some long tail keyword then start all activity your keyword will be rank sure.
I have asked client to change keyword but their business is depend on this keyword. They manufacture Conveyor Belt & its main product. They want in top 10. So i dint have any other option.
Hey denial12, But if you will target only one keyword "Conveyor Belt" then you may get your site spam for this keyword use..Targeting only one keyword look like spam and not looks natural to search engine.. So, try to make your client understand the importance of keywords variation that looks natural and helps to easily rank high instead of spamming your site by using Conveyor Belt... Hope that helps..
hey freeadstime, On the mentioned page client has shown a list of sub-product which include keyword (Conveyor Belt/s) at the end of the each product name. As Per SEO its spam but as per client its their product name so can you please suggest how can i avoid keyword stuffing from page content??
Write a lot of content that doesn't have this keyword more than couple times in it and add it maybe somewhere closer to the footer of this page. This is just a suggestion and we might be wrong, but this is what we have learned from experience.
Go t Go to fiverr and search for gigs that provide social promotion in facebook, twitter and g+. Promote the page you are targeting and you will see great serp improvement. i have done this and I have not been dissapointed. Ensure that you do not overdo it by getting hundreds of links this will be dangerous. Just a couple of each of the social sites will be enough. Hope this helps.
Check out what your competitor is doing and where they are getting links. It's as simple as that. I do agree, you don't want a Penguin penalty, so try and keep the amount times you put the keyword on the page to 1 or 2 times, tops.
