I'm trying to sell a few domains, I've been a member of the forum for possibly a few years. Yet some restrictions or should I call it 'red tape' still prevents a simple post to sell them. I was asked by your systems to link my paypal. I did this, reluctantly, but some strange elitist rules still prevent me from posting a domain for sale. I hereby request you make life a little easier, would it hurt?
Thanks, I really want to post them myself. Kind gesture though. How do you LIKE something, I've viewed other pages and posts and profiles and cant see an obvious LIKE button. Either way, I think I'm 3 off being able to post. So I'll take a punt and a risk and say 'please like me'. I sound like a sad kid on facebook. But if that's what is needed.
In order to like, you have to have 3 likes already... I only have likes from two people, so mine don't count :|
It looks like someones given you one. In the beginning was a single member of the forum with no likes, then joined Eve, she also had no likes. So how the heck did these likes get going?
There was straight system before update, I was performing easily and after update, there are now new challenges, I am now facing very competitive environment and performing as described bellow: hahahahah
@Spoiltdiva, ryan_uk is really a great and reputable member. What is special with ryan_uk? May I know?
I got warned for bumping and got warned for putting a post in the wrong section. There's only so many rules I can tolerate, especially when my post is about your restrictive rules. I'll be honest, I can't stand elitism and this place feels like the death star, what with all the rules. I've had enough and will depart without burning a bridge. It's not a forum for me. Bye. Can a mod delete the account and the deletion of all previous posts by this account, thanks.
They don't do that. So just don't come back and you can be done with DP - pretty simple, but equally simple is just learning from the warnings. They are meaningless unless you gather a ton of them anyway.
This forum is honest and trusted and also for similar people. I think you may be tried to get something in short way or in black (spamming) way........I can not say surly that you have done something like "bad". You can spend months and even years in this forum..........just do not lie, cheat, steal and spam. Hope to see you a long-lasting DP member.
Yes it is. All those confirmation do not work smoothly, or better said work very slow. I don't know why it is a must now to prove the ownership of a domain, when it should be done by request from the buyer....
True, especially since Im trying to sell links on one that has transferred ownership. The original owner verified the domain in a thread. Now, I cant even post a thread with that domain, because the system tells me that a thread for that domain has already been made. Well, since I don't have access to that thread, I can't do anything about it. I asked a moderator to delete the old thread because the domain transferred ownership, and she told me DP doesn't delete threads. I tried to explain the situation further, but she ignored me.
We had a lot of problems with people claiming they were selling good but not famous domains. Significant money would be paid but, since the "seller" never owned the domains, the buyer never got what they had bought. If the red tape is annoying you just need to think that it's there for a reason. We don't get a kick out of making your lives difficult, we don't get a kick out of making Shawn code all sorts of tricky things. We just try to keep the place clean and safe.
I liked how it was before. Seller could prove the ownership anytime he/she wanted (including by buyer's request) to prove the ownership after the thread was created. It up to the buyer and seller to get a safe deal, digitalpoint can only offer the features but not force users to use them. What is going to be the next step, force users to use only paypal business accounts?
