Is my server adequate enough for this kind of advertising?

    Hi,

    I have a dedicated server with Host Gator. It's a 2.8 GHz Pentium 4 with 1 GB Ram. I have only a single youtube like site on it and will be advertising through a non-rotating banner on a big website that receives on average 550,000 Uniques a month.

    Host Gator has a 100 MB/s pipeline.

    Please share your knowledge.

    I think CPU resource wont permit considering the traffic it can bring and the type of script you are running.

    You have more then enough power there. 550,000 uniques a month is nothing. I am pushing close to a million with a box almost exactly like yours, except with more ram.
