What do you prefer? Panda or Penguin?

If Google would tell you that your website will be penalized tomorrow what would be your hope: a Panda penalization or a Penguin one? What's the easiest way for you?

 

Panda bears are cute.

 

Both are very serious penalization.....

I would not think that my site should be penalized from any update..

 

It’s not our preference, It impose….. however, I would thanks to google, for such updates, they have increase demand for good “seo’s

Yes Both are important on their place and harm for cheap quality website

 

I think Panda and Penguin both are important
panda depend upon site back links and
penguin depend upon content optimization

 

panda is a content issue
penguin is a back link issue

 

Both of them are dangerous if you won't careful with your actions,thus you must obey their rules to avoid your site dump in the garbage palace.

 

If you haven't violated any general webmasters guidelines, then I guess there is no need to worry about any kind of penalization from Google (from either panda or penguin) or from any other major search engines.

If Google tells me that my site will be penalized tomorrow then i will think there would be any mistake to Google as i have never done anything wrong..I always do quality work that looks natural..I will not worry about just wait and watch for positive effect.....

 

Both are important and we can't say which is more important.
Due to these update of Google, We (SEO) are forced to do only quality work.

No, it is not PR update.
Google is updating the algorithm for SERP (search engine rank position) and spam protection.
Panda update says that the web page should have quality and unique content. And, it is not necessary to have SEO friendly but it must be visitors friendly.
Penguin update says that the back links of a website should be qualitative and related.

 

As someone that works with many sites for clients I come across both cases rather often and would rather face a panda update over a penguin update every time.

There is more control when recovering from Panda because you can change the content on your site and take out any spammy on-page techniques (hidden text, keyword stuffing etc...) it seems more black and white than penguin. With Penguin, you can remove or disavow all the links you think are bad but in the end you really don't know. Plus there are more Panda updates than Penguin.... this means you can have a faster fix.

 

Panda is on site seo and therefore a bit easier to address and correct
