12 Clicks and $0.03 Cents. Is it Normal?

Hi,

I got the mind blowing stats in my AS account and I want to share with the experts to get some help.

I received 12 clicks and got just $0.03 cents from one of my websites.

On the other sites 41 clicks and $3.

Both sites are in the same account. First site is 4 months old and the last is 4-5 years old.

Can anyone tell me please the reason behind this too low earning?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

whats your keyword cpc?

 

Average CPC rate is good in my niche. But 12 clicks and $0.03 cents is not understandable to me.

 

Some of those clicks may have been 'invalid' and not counted by Google.

 

12 clicks and $0.03, It means those clicks are invalid.

 

I ever get small CPC, but not this bad. Maybe a few days later the CPC on your website will be back to normal like mine.

 

Are invalid clicks dangerous to GA account?

 

I believe you should use CPA to earn money. You will earn more....

You're probably getting click bombed like many people this last few weeks.

 

My adsense earning stats are going to ground.

24 clicks and 0.07 cents earning.

Major traffic source is Google with 80+% unique visitors.

I think there is no chance of click fruad.

Site in question has 100% unique and proofread content. No duplicate or scrapped stuff is there on the site.

I really need to know the reason behind this issue.

Is there anyone who can help me with this issue?

If somebody clicks your ads in Kazakhstan, don't expect the payout to be too high. Where and what they're clicking matter, too.

 

80+% unique visitors. has nothing to do with the clicks. It is quite possible that those 17 clicks are from the same ip, same thing happened to my account also last week where i got 25 clicks and earned 0.08 only. All these are fraudlent clicks

Google defines invalid clicks as:

• Manual clicks intended to increase publisher’s advertising
• Clicks by automated tools, robots, or other deceptive software.

So how does Google detect these clicks and how would they know which clicks are invalid? Google AdSense team uses three powerful tools to detect invalid clicks:

• Detection and Filtering Tool: Each click on an AdSense ad is monitored by Google system. Google will record the IP of each click, the time of the click, duplicate clicks and various click patterns. Google will use these factors and filter out potential invalid clicks.

• Advanced Monitoring Tool: Google uses its proprietary software to monitor clicks fraud activity. They are constantly working to improve their technology.

• The Google Team: In addition, Google has a team that uses specialized tools and techniques to examine individual case of clicks fraud. When Google system detects potentially invalid clicks, a member of this team will examines the affected account.

You can't check if the clicks are fraudlent or not yourself, but you can judge them if there is rapid increase in number of clicks which is also known as click bomb

 

i have the same problem with my youtube account i get 5 clicks at least and 0 $ as earnings !!

$0.03 for 12 clicks? That sounds like all of the clicks were invalid and you got the $0.03 for impressions instead.

Don't worry too much. Invalid clicks happen.

Do you get a lot of traffic from mobile devices? I've noticed that I get few invalid clicks from mobile devices every day. On a mobile device, it can be hard to scroll down without accidentally clicking on an ad.

 

Well, perhaps it were a lot better and we could help you more if you told us:
*your industry (field/theme of your sites, e.g. "finance", "travel", "entertainment" etc.): some industries pay high, others have very low CPC... choose a more lucrative industry and it will pay high
*depends on the country of your visitors: USA, Canada, UK-originating clicks generally pay higher than... let's say Indonesia, India, Bulgaria, Russia-originating clicks...
*also depends on which pages people click on the ads: if most of your visitors land on a page with less lucrative keywords, then you will get lower income... investigate and drive more traffic to pages with more lucrative/better paid keywords and content!
*reoptimize your site for keywords, perhaps they will pay you more after setting up new content, new keywords...
