I very rarely submit to directories that use image validation because time is better spent submitting to those that don't use it. No matter how easy the image validation is (and some are quite bad), it takes more time to submit to directories that use it than those that do not. For those of us with a lot of submissions to make to each directory, it is very inconvenient and a waste of time since the time can be better spent on submitting to the many directories that don't use image validation. There is certainly no shortage to keep us busy. Since image validation does not even block the spam bots anymore, there's no reason for it. All it does is make it more time-intensive for people to submit, especially if you happen to get a digit wrong. With some of the image validation, I have typed it 4 times, maybe more (don't remember offhand).

I would suggest you to create some more internal categories... I had to submit webhosting and a directory all in "Internet"..

After submission I've noted that your "Home" link on http://www.nuclearland.com/submit.php is wrong, it links to same page (http://www.nuclearland.com/submit.php).

mystikmedia: Oh.... that sounds quite reasonable. Yes, perhaps you are right. I should remove the image verification, then. Moreover, I do go over every sites that were submitted before approving them.

lordcage: Yes, I will do that. I was taken aback when so many sites were submited under Internet category. I guess I have to make that a main category with sub-branches. Thanks for the suggestion.

ajsa52: I noticed that too. It definitely is a coding bug in the template script. I have yet to figure out where has gone wrong. I'll try to fix that asap. Sorry for the inconvenience. Nonetheless, thanks for the great comment. I like critics.

So, the latest update is I have removed image verifications.

i have submitted 2 web sites . one to software category and the other to dictionaries category . i hope you will accept both of them

 

chriscm: I kinda agree that the site might be vulnerable to spam without the image, but still i will go through every single submission.
