Same sex Marriage

You're focusing on behavior here. But children model themselves after what they observe. The same sex parent is who the child models him or herself after primarily. It is not so much about how that parent treats the child, but how the kid sees the parent "deal with life" so to speak.

When coming to the future relationship of a child, the parent of the opposite sex has a tremendous impact on that.

 

I dont care about same sex marriages. I am happy to let *them* have fun and enjoy their lives so long as it is mutual. When I hear that they want to make it 'illegal' for my kids to use the words "mum" and "dad" at preschool just because there is lesbians or gays getting married and stuff, this is when I become intolerant.

 

I would say never break the bond between the biological parent and the child unless there is endangerment.
If one "turns gay" then so be it. I even know of a case where a man had a sex change operation and gotten custody of his two daughters. Also in this case I would not want to break that bond. Mainly because I know for a fact that given the option, those kids would choose to be with that parent over the biological mother or anyone else for that matter anytime.

The only reason this is an issue is because (like the gun control issue) this is something that the left is looking / praying / begging to gain as a "win".

I don't think there is anything wrong with it and gay couples have shown themselves to be no different in relationships when compared to straight couples.
