1 Adsense code per site so 20 Adsense codes for 20 sites?

Im not sure about this topic and so I used the same code for all of my sites until yesterday. Now I disabled all adsense codes for the moment because I dont want to risk a lifetime ban.

So the question I couldnt answer to that point is: Do I need a single adsense code for every site I want to use it on?

    ok thx for your answer.

I was unsure about that because I saw a youtube video from a guy talking about his amazing adsense earnings and there he scrolled through pages and pages of adsense codes.

    Thx a lot Sincos

but why are so many people talking about sites that had been declined by adsense?
I have a solid page and will be approved.
This code I can use then everywhere without a new approval request isnt it? (I only did that the first time)

Yes. And there's only one AdSense code per account (your pub-xxxx number). Anything else is tracking info which is nice, but not absolutely necessary.

Thx for your infos. The fog is getting away slowly ;-)

For my sites I can say adsense is not worth it or Im too bad with placing the Ads.
59.000 Pageviews, 59 Klicks makes 0,10% CTR - I´ll better try clickbank and co *gg*

You'd probably best start by looking at URL channels - set them up for each site so you can see stats for each rather than an overall view (assuming you haven't already). Very little extra work required on the AdSense side, too.

0.1% is actually quite average for a lot of sites. CPM setups work on that sort of figure (0.1%-0.2% generally) unless you have a nicely targetted site.

You can also check placement on the page. The ideal spot is as close to the top left as possible, ideally with a 300x250 square (which get the most clicks). Unfortunately that often looks really ugly but if you can work it, you'll get more focus on the ad.

CPA might not work better, depending on your niche. It'll likely be more dependent on your unique views (UVs) than your pageviews. For example, my main site gets about 1.4 Million pageviews a month and about 100k UVs but the CPA conversion rate works off the uniques rather than the pageviews: I can get far fewer pageviews and still convert the same ratio of individual visitors.

Hope that helps a bit. :)
