Does first page rankings in Bing & Yahoo hints first page rankings in Google in the near future?

I have this particular question in my mind running all the day, when I noticed first page rankings for 2 of my targeted keywords in Bing and Yahoo, but 4th and 5th page rankings respectively in Google for the same 2 keywords. I believe that my website can be pushed towards Google's first page for my targeted keywords with the same SEO strategy in another few weeks time. All comments, and suggestions regarding this question are welcome.

    Thanks

Don't hold your breath. It may happen, but Yahoo/Bing use a completely different algorithm than Google. Even if they use similar ranking factors, they place different importance and authority on each. For example bing/yahoo take social signals into account moreso than Google does currently. Yahoo/Bing places less importance on Links that Google does, etc.

There was a really good infographpic going around outlining the differences in ranking in Google vs. Yahoo/Bing.

But no I don't think ranking highly in Yahoo/Bing indicate you'll be Page 1 on Google. I've got two sites that are ranking on Pg.1 position 8 for two money keywords in Yahoo/Bing, but nowhere to be found in the big G. (I kinda did messed up the link profile on these sites.)

It doesn't happen with all keywords, for more you can check top ranking keywords in Bing then check in Google.. both have their own algorithm..

    Thanks for the reply.

I have read many blogs relating to Google's ranking algorithm after posting this thread, and found out that there is drastic difference between the big G's algorithm and other competitive search engines like Bing and Yahoo. So, 1st page ranking in Bing/Yahoo really doesn't indicate the same result in Google in any time soon. It requires lots of efforts and time to hit that 1st page in Google for any given set of Keywords.

Google and Yahoo! and Bing are altogether different search engines with different algorithms to search, filter and rank webpages. Despite of these differences, they use certain basic rules and criterion to rank pages. So it is possible rather probable that you would get ranked well in Google, not necessarily on 1st page, if Bing and Yahoo! rank you on the first page.
