Hi friends i have been working for a site name called industrial products finder and the keywords which am working can't reach the google 1st pages please help me to get the new strategic ideas to implement It. Thanks Ramiszaro
Provide the best most relevant answers to the search queries you are targetting by being the most useful resource to be returned in order to rank highest
Hi ramiszaro, Step1. Get a link analysis tool. Majestic Free Account is what I always use. What you want to do here is get the top 5 urls that are ranking for the keyword that you are targeting. Run a site explorer check on those urls. Analyze all the top 5 backlinks pointing to the urls. Doing so will help you gauge what is needed to be done inorder to rank for the keyword/phrases you're targeting. If you see a couple of backlinks with highPRs pointing to the urls, try to get those backlinks to your site. Just get 3 or 4 of those backlinks and monitor movements of your rankings for a week. The idea here is to always do what your competitors are doing and do it slightly better. So for example, if your competitor has 5 pr 3 backlinks, 5 pr 4 backlinks and 3 pr 5 backlinks, you'll need to links that are similar or stronger. Wait for a week or two. Once you see movements, Step.2 Build more backlinks but this time with generic anchor texts from web 2.0,pdfs sharing sites, bookmarks, article sites and so one. I personally select only sites with pr1 above to build links from. How fast to build them? Personally, I would simulate natural links growth. For example if you keyword receives, 2000 visitors a month, you don't want to build 10000 links in that month split em all up into days. so 2000/30 = 60 visitors which means roughly 30 links a day. Record all urls of backlinks that you've created into a spreadsheet and keep it aside for a moment. If your competitors are not consistently building links, you should have established a decent ranking by now. Step.3 Capitalize on your position by getting more high quality relevant backlinks. If you're building more than your competitors overtime, you'll be above them For this to work, firstly, you'll need relevant content for your traffic like RDecoder mentioned.
And you have to give time too, if you are expecting fast result then it won't happen as there are other competitors too, they are also thinking like you are thinking.
Use Google adword keywords tool and choose good keyword for your site and also make sure that you are using low or medium competitive keyword with high local or global searches for your site.
And please visit my site and tell me what are the changes i can make to develop the position of keywords http://www.ipfonline.com/ .
That is great information. Competition backlinking is a great way to figured out why your competition is outranking you. Varying the anchor text is pretty important as well. You don't want to have it over optimized because that will create problems as well. Let us know how it goes.
Hi If you want to rank your website on top with your targeted keyword then you need to work out for On Page as well as OFF Page optimization. First you need to implement your keyword on your web page meta tag and content. Once you done then go for off page activities in which you need to create back link for that keyword. Same processes you need to follow for all your keywords. In this way you will get the top position for your targeted keywords. Hope you understood.
You're welcome I looked at your website and honestly you've got alot of work on your hands and might need a decent size budget Try sending a couple of high pr links (4 & 5s if possibe) with xrf analyser as anchor text to the url below http://www.ipfonline.com/products/index/xrf_analyser_xmet7000_express_1 Code (markup): and observe what happens in a week. Thanks Thanks for the compliment Iain R
In order to get on to Google first page you have to look into various parts. Major includes website content, SEO, Keywords etc. Other then Social sites also help us to get genuine traffic. Generating backlinks from high traffic sites, PR sites helps to optimize the website ranking.
I would say it totally depends on keyword and your on-page optimization ability. If you are using competitive keyword then you have to fight with your competitor. If it is less competitive keyword then you have to do less work.
You bring up a good point Alex. What you do with your on-page SEO can have a huge impact on your rankings. Also, having a less competitive keyword does make a world of difference.
Offpage optimization improves your rankings... *Keyword research do that first, make sure you're optimizing for keywords you can get a top rank for (competition analysis, etc). *Then do offpage optimization because that's what is going to get you top rankings... Onpage factors matter little google wants to see backlinks from other websites linking to yours (using keyword you want to rank for in anchor text). Also don't try to learn SEO from a forum thread, it's more complex to explain in just one reply.
