Hello I have a Famous website about Humor these days I am thinking of making an E-mail list, what's niche that will work fine and what do you suggest ? thank you
Well for starters, you want to be getting the details of those visiting your site. So if you run a humor site then why would you be looking for another niche to throw at them? If they are at your site it's because they want to find funny stuff ... See if you can gather a collection of hard to find funny pics, jokes or cartoons or suchlike that they would happily give their email address for. Cheers NUK
Use different placements of opt in forms on your site..and it sounds like you already have your niche picked out..."humor".
I also have a joke website but never expect to make money from it. No such word as "wanna" by the way.

Start off by GIVING AWAY products to encourage your visitors to sign up to your list. Don't just think of Clickbank for offers. Look at places like Amazon, Commission Junction, maybe CPA companies and even places like Walmart who do affiliate programmes.
My I thought, my niche (Humor) doesn't work in Affiliate programmes I gotta creat new site with a niche Right ?

If you have this "famous humor site" then you might as well make use of it right?
make a form of subcribers ? offering daily updates, or whatever period they want to receive updates. inside the update probably you can put some ads to make some money.. just my 2 cents..
You need to insert a good looking opt in form to collect their e-mail addresses and a strong call to action which is very important.
I agree with Neil. Giving something away is a great way to encourage new visitors to sign up. Keep in mind, proper list hygiene should be practiced. Keeping that bounce rate low is also important!
It's going to be hard for you to make money out of a Humor site. I also own one but never expected money from it, just entertainment for my followers. I love the competition so good luck. Tom
First, can you PM me with a link to your website - I could do with a chuckle. Secondly if it's money you want then the only real way you can do it with a humor website is through website advertisements. If it's popular then put your website on buyandsellads and you'll have a nice flow of income i'm sure. As for an email list, offer those who are regulars to your website some kind of competition. Get them to sign up for a prize - maybe you could have a $50 - $100 Amazon or iTunes voucher? Things like that normally work (dependent on your audience).
I think that you might be able to find a product to sell to your audience and it does not necessarily need to be humor-related. I think that it is fair to say that the demographics and pschyographics for the audience of a humor website are quite broad. Of course, you do need to take account of the actual humor and what audiences it targets, but otherwise it could be typical popular general products like weight loss solutions, health solutions, financial solutions, etc. Find some small manufacturers with niche products and see if your audience is interested.
It's really hard to get them to opt-in because it is just humor - nothing of practical use. However, if you do provide value, register with Mailchimp (it is free from the beginning if you don't have a lot of subscribers).
