I am about to open an aweber account, but can someone please just clarify something?

If I put a form on each of my sites (unrelated niches) can a keep the lists separate? Or is it one account, one site?

As long as you create a new list for each site, you can have multiple lists and multiple web forms.

Thanks, I went ahead and opened an account - all quite straight forward once you get in, but I'm really struggling with the email creator. I guess it's just going to take a bit of patience and practise!

You can choose a template and try one of those out. They tend to give you an idea. I suggest starting simple. It will make your life easier.

It's the templates I'm having problems with - I can't find where to just get a blank page?

Try one of the clean or simple templates.

I still find the old editor easier. When you click on messages on the top menu and then broadcast
you will see a green button that says "New HTML Message" with another one under it that says Create Split test Broadcast".

Under that there should be a link to the old broadcast editor. There you can create a plain text message.

Of course eventually they will phase that out but it may help you in the meantime.

I started using Aweber not too long ago, so I think I only know the new system.

Thanks Sandy, That sounds like an easier option for me! I think I must be the only person on the planet that can't use the templates - it looks so easy :(

If you're still stuck, there are a number of tutorials there that can walk you through some of that stuff. Plus aweber holds regular webinars teaching new clients how to use the software. I think their customer service is superb in my opinion.

Agreed. Their tutorials are pretty good. They give you quite a bit of information.

I'll look into them, thanks - I'm the kind of person that throws the instruction leaflet away and dives in LOL

It's how I've always learnt stuff, or learnt how not to do stuff in the case of reformatting my first PC haha
I just dont have the patience to watch video tutorials or read long winded instructions, videos really are my pet hate - unless they involve funny cats or accidents of course LOL

Another, simpler, IMHO, way to do it is to have one list, and clone the sign-up form for different sites.
You'll get a unique identifier on the form to track sign-ups and you can segment and sort your list based on that id.

    I've got a newbie-friendly Aweber tutorial here :)

    Best of Success!
