    your article would be featured on the front page until it's knocked off by incoming.
    so for a while you would be on top of the heap as they say, plus the popularity of article keeps a link on the right, so first in, write a great article, you stay on front page, plus it's being hooked up for front page links for top contributors!

    check the fake pr checkers that are available online, don't you know
    that there are blogs that are high pr because of content and not links, as well as
    links that don't show up in backlink checkers from pr8 sites or higher.
    use the fake pr checkers to see if it's real.
    believe me I know what I am talking about.
