Well i went on holiday and got back from the big apple just yesterday! On my last day i nipped into Virgin Megastores and bought myself a Zune. Having been back in the UK, having encountered quite a few issues getting my Zune connected to my computer, ive eventually got it working... yay. According to some online reports they arent going to be releasing Zune in the UK until (potentially) 2008 and as i understand it it was only released on the 17th November (correct me if im wrong). So does this make me the first offical UK Zune owner?
I've got one but I'm going to eBay it. When it sells you'll be the only UK Zune owner and one of the few Zune owners in the world before it's taken off the shelves due to it sucking.
Stick a video camera on it, then I'd be impressed (or just stick the harddrive into a cell phone) the zune is not anything better than any other mp3 player
I doubt you're the first UK person with a Zune. I think someone that got a review piece has already traveled with theirs to Britain, or others who are for some reason crazy about it had it imported the first day.

Nope no blue screens as yet lol tbh im a ipod lover but i decided to buy one anyways with the view that if i didnt like it i could always sell it on eBay. All being told i think its rather cool, if a little on the heavy side, although i suppose that does give it the advantage of not bouncing around so much when ive got it in my pocket. I think the main reason i bought it over a new iPod was because its obviously brand new and wont be out offically in the uk until 2008, plus i suppose i can see a potential in a product such as this made by Microsoft. If Microsoft get it right they could bring out all manor of software application addons - simple games that you can play against other Zune owners via the wireless connection, possibly a screen reader so you can read your favourite eBook and even some add on accessories such as a mini camera or something. Needless to say i have some high expectations... im not holding my breath though... ive held it enough for Vista tbh!!!
Even if some are on ebay you had to be one of the first few, not bad in a country of 60 million! Personally I don't even own an ipod yet so I can't comment on whether it is/will be any good, but I say nice one mate!
