I submited my website...2 or 3 times...on Google...since 2 or 3 months ago...still not indexed... What can I do?
The problem is that you've submitted the website instead of letting Google crawl it itself. Might take few more months, or might take a few days. Try to get backlinks! - that's the best way of getting indexed quickly, I learnt myself.
You should make a sitemap for google and register an account with google so you can submit it and follow how it's treated. You can get the job done here: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ http://www.freesitemapgenerator.com/ http://www.sitemapdoc.com/ (just an example - not related websites of mine) /miko67
Buy or link exchange with a couple of sites especially high PR ones, you can get indexed in less that 48 sometimes.
two things: Get listed in a couple of thousands of free directories - can be done but takes time Write a couple of thousands of (preferably interesting) posts in forums like this one - and remember to put a link to your website in your signature. - okay, three things: . Write posts about your websites like: "What did I do wrong on this page?" and now you have a deep link too. Last suggestion should not be used for the sole purpose of getting a link though, bad manners tsk tsk. /miko67
If you are new to the game, try Google's Webmaster Guidelines. Bottom line, if you don't have at least one line, that google knows about, pointing to your site, it will not get indexed.
Just submit to 100 directories to get start... shouldn't take more than a week to get indexed... I have never had problem of get indexed...
Thanks for your replies. About the sitemap, my site gets one. I did submit the site to hundreds of search engine. I got indexed on Yahoo. I get 49 pages there. But none on Google I'm far away from a couple of thousands post here, but I probably posted an average of 50-60 posts in 10-12 forum So, I don't know...maybe with time...
Even if you don't submit your website to Google you're site can be crawled. I had this SEO strategy on how to get indexed in 1 day. Basically you just need a link from a website that is well loved by Google to crawl. A site can be indexed if someone linking to your site. So focus on how you can get inbound links to your site like directory submission. article submission, link exchange, sig links, and etc. All are being mentioned on the link I've provided above.
Chances are if you post your url in your signature on this forum you'll get indexed if you have unique content. You could also post some articles on sites like digg and netscape to get things going. The key is getting links from trusted sites (high pr). You don't need a lot of links (1 pr 6 link would do the trick in most cases) to get indexed. However, if you're using duplicate content you're going to find it hard to get your pages indexed and stay indexed unless you think outside the box and use additional content on the duplicate pages to make them different in the eyes of the bots.
- Submit your site's Title, URL, and Description in high PR or high traffic directories. - Create an article about your site, with your URL or link in the resource box. - Create a link to your website using your forum signature.

My sites usually get indexed after about 2 weeks. Submit to a lot of directories is not necessary but could help. I didn't submit to any. Just have quality content and make sure Google knows your site exists.
Something else to cosider if the above options still do not get you indexed: submitting a reinclusion request from the webmaster tools. If you have not owned the domain very long, or you know it was owned before you, it may have been banned by google. My site didn't get indexed for 4 months because of this. I had backlinks, PR, everything except indexing. Submitted a reinclusion request and I was indexed 2 days later!
I got my site (partially) indexed in 3 days. I submitted it to some directories, announced it to some forums, wrote and article with a link to the site and hey presto! Maybe I was just lucky though.
