    Hello,

What do you think is the best search engine; apart from Bing, Google and Yahoo?

I only use Google for searching. I use the others for seeing if my domains are coming up correctly.

Let me make a guess... Maybe because it increases their message count and therefore their reputation? (just in numbers for the trophy points, of course)

I have bored by answering the same questions many times..Same answers and same questions..I think if someone post same question we should have to suggest them to use search option of this Forum..:)

The best search engine is Google but besides the major three, I guess Dogpile would be the best. Dogpile has a index of major search engines which makes it very effective.

duckduckgo is the best alternative from the mainstream.

It also promotes itself as 100% anonymous and claims not to retain any end user data.

    :)

Until they get really big. Then they will retain it :)

It is good idea for search engine, but on several occasions they missed results. They have very little support for unpopular languages.
