SEO Analysis Tools Are a Waste of Time?

    A bold statement to make, but it has always been something I was aware of, there is only one way to truely analyse your own site and 70% involves not looking at your site.

    you need to fully analyse your competition, you need to look what their site has that yours doesnt such as

    - Titles
    - Site setup
    - age
    - keywords
    - backlinks (analysers are ok for this, however again manual search is alot more reliable)

    Once you know what your strongest competition has, then you need to try and emulate it and make it better than that. If you go soley of marketed or free tools then you are definately going to fall short. There is not one person who has created a reliable tool otherwise it would be the fastest selling tool on the internet.

    Couldn't agree more my friend.

    Relying solely on keyword tools is very unwise because they are no match for our most powerful tool - the brain.

    If I could I like that :) It's perfect, I too dislike those software that analyze your page, and give you a ton of info, your keyword density, # of times your keyword on page and stuff like that.

    There are lots of tools that help you on the SEO and is batter as well, you can say that the tools which is used for the promotion is not good but some tools which give you information about your keyword content and information about SEO which help you for good SEO. There are lots of addons as well that helps for batter SEO

    Its depend on tool also that which one is you are using. First of all check that tool reviews on net and then go for it. By following these method you will save your lots of time.

    There are certain metrics or data helps you to analyze easily with tools.., but not more than a human brain.., but those tools are created by HUMANS brain.., so advisable is do not completely rely on tools..,

    The tools, quite simply, don't give enough info! There are 100s of people who sell these and their customers fully rely on it. If they worked we would all be millionaires on the front page for phrases like DVDs.

    I agree it works for link analysis only, but for keyword density etc... I would never use! People think they can beat the google algo with their software, the only one who can beat it is google. So look at your competition in great depth and find what they have that you don't! Do not rely On any software
