Does anyone know any addresses of the websites showing the ranking of the best website designs? I have tried to look at this on google but I could not find anything useful but just a lot of rubbish.
Google does not rank websites by how good their designs are. This is because designs are good (or not) based on how well their design content aligns with the application of the site. This has to take into consideration the history of the application as well as the history of that style of design. Good design is something you often know when you see it, but it would be harder for a machine to pinpoint it. In addition, there are new sites being designed all the time. So while one is great for a while, soon newer styles and technology drive the other one out of the water and something new becomes "best." So really, the best places to look might be design blogs or other things that are up-to-date as far as what might be good out there right now.
Thank you Clare for your comment. Maybe I used wrong words for what I meant. I mean ranking not done by google but people and maybe it should be called survey, not ranking.
