    Hello,

I am looking for a website to sell my domain; except from sedo, namepros.

    Any suggestions?

Try Sedo or Godaddy auctions, personally I think Sedo are pretty good if your happy to give them commission for the sale

You could also try flippa.com. They specialize in buying and selling websites and have a bidding system much like ebay. Good Luck!

Im not very convinced from sedo. They place 99% advertisements on your domain for 0 parking revenue and only a small notice, that the domain is for sale. I placed 100 good domains for over a year now on sedo and i only got one request so far. Right now im making my own system to sell my domains with focus on the sale and not on ads.

Just a thought, perhaps its your asking price?
I have previously inquired about a few different domains before (not necessarily on sedo), and got nowhere as they were too greedy. Years later, those domains are still for sale. There is absolutely no way that the price they were asking is remotely justified.
If you have 100 domains that you cant move in 12 months, then how many years will you keep trying to move them before you change tactics? Perhaps, try to reduce the asking price on all of them by 10-25%....

I reduced them already and also mixed with negotiation. Also high commercial domains with ~250k exact search volume getting only 1 offer over 60 euro in 4 month now. Maybe its highly different between german market and international market.

Last year I tried to sell some domains with GoDaddy.com. None sold, but also you have to pay for the privilege of selling with GoDaddy, it's not much to pay, but something to bare in mind.

How did your friend accomplish that? I've been parked at Sedo for a while...

If you have got lot of domains you can try DomainNameSales they have great marketplace but they only accept domainers with good and bulk domain. If you go there with 25 domains they will not let you register until you have car.com.
Next I would suggest Digital Point. The thing I see here is that most of the domain business that goes on digital point forum is PR domains. So it is a great marketplace for PR Domains.
If you have got .co.uk domains then I will suggest Acorn Domains Forum. They have the best marketplace for the uk domains. The worse part with Acorn domains is that its very very tough to register there due to their spam detection filter also you cant use free mail services like gmail and hotmail there.
If you are a beginner then start with ebay. Slowly you will learn about the market there and many are successful on ebay.
The best place to sell domain is end buyer. Try contacting end buyer via email or phone, I would suggest phone because they can give you the best price.
Let me know if any confusion.

    1. Forget selling on forums about domain names now
    2. If it's a niche find a forum on that niche and try there
    3. If it is not, the only thing you can do now-a-days is to wait for a contact (make sure a potential buyer can easily find you, whois, "domain for sell")
    4. Create a small site on it, buy some traffic, and try Flippa
Bonus trick: Park on SEDO, ask a friend to make an offer and sent it to auction. ;)

Are there any places that let you list domain and sell them for small amount of $$? Ebay/godaddy/sedo ask an arm and a leg it looks like, around 10% sometimes on top of transaction costs

For small amount I would suggest two options:
    1. Digital Point
    2. Ebay

I don't see other places where $XX domains are being sold in large amount.
I Would suggest that try increasing the price like 1USD-3USD because if you are selling a domain for $10 then for sure it will be sold for $11 hence saving the fees for you.
Also if you sell a domain for $53 or $55 instead of $50 then there is no loss of low loss.. ;)
I hope you get me point.

Let me know if I can help more.
