i vote for black hawk down, its tell me how to save the your army in the middle of battle. its very good war movie, i watch for a many times. did you have the same vote for me?
I voted for Saving Private Ryan.... Greatest war movie i ever seen by the greatest actor and director.
Apocalypse Now [1979] is one of those movies I mention regularly. The Thin Red Line [1998] also, which you don't even have listed... Shame on you. Inglorious Bastards [2009]? Isn't in the list either... You're list is too small to make the voting worth while. "Never get out of the boat. Absolutely god damn right... Unless you were going all the way." Martin Sheen - Apocalypse Now [1979]
well, I missed "The Thin Red Line" in the list. It is one of my favourite movies. I also liked "Inglourious Basterds" (only for those who like Quentin Tarrantino), "The Hurt Locker", "Defiance" (it was filmed at my country's lands), "Black Hawk Down" and many other movies. I can say I am addicted to this genre I would also recommend two cool tv-series of this genre: The Pacific Band Of Brothers
Only Ten choice for adding poll ... I know that this list not complete ... so many movies out of in poll list ... Please mention your favorite ... Above mentioned movies mine favorite also ... I love this genre so much ... It's only for a hobby ...
I consider these films are some of the best war films and I love to see these movies again and again. Especially "black hawk down", But I would like to share my view also and also it’s a message given by these movies and many other war movies. Some war films do balance the soul-searching, tragic consequences and inner turmoil of combatants or characters with action-packed, dramatic spectacles, enthusiastically illustrating the excitement and turmoil of warfare. And some 'war' films concentrate on the home front rather than on the conflict at the military war-front. But many of them provide decisive criticism of senseless warfare. So I love to see a combination of action, love, patriotism and humanity.
