I started a new social networking site for the LGBT community. It is an instant hit and has almost 6,000 members already with 100 new joining everyday. Here is my problem. I can't seem to find a cmp/cpc company that has any sort of decent fill ratio to accept me. I have one cmp company that is taking about 25% of my impressions at 1 dollar cpm. Can anyone suggest a cpm/cpc network that will accept me. All that I apply to say that they are not seeking my "type" of traffic. Not sure what they mean by that as LGBT people are consumers too. I don't run the same ads in the chat rooms it's self. I run a seperate ad server for the chat to keep it seperate as I have it on an auto rotation script within the chat. Any ideas on monetizing this site. I can't use google as it doesn't allow chat sites even though the chat is but a fraction of what the site is all about. I am currently trying peerfly CPA network as I have run out of ideas.
You won't receive anything close to $1.00 CPM. You're best to try and contact companies such as Burst Media, Tribal Fusion, CPXinteractive and so forth.
Tribal Fusion for LGBT social site ? I think you should try adult site ad network... There has to be some with Cost per lead..which can help you earn more than a CPM ...
Adult ads are out of the question. I don't believe that just because a site is for the LGBT community it should have to resort to adult ads and be labeled as an porn site. Nothing against adult sites as I do own those as well. I prefer not to brand this site as an adult site. It's gaining popularity because it's one of the few lgbt social sites that doesn't push porn in your face. Thank you for the recommendation though. Burst Media and Tribal fusion have already turned the site down. Without calling the homophobia card I can only assume it's because it is a very new site that just popped up in the last few months.
Brewing for ideas I remembered that I was approved for the ebay partnership program with this site a long time ago and never put any ads up. I am giving it a go. Anyone here have any experience with them?
PeerFly is good choice. Did they accept you? Anyway, they should, if there's no adult stuff. Also take a look at Epom Market, they can accept you too, quite friendly to new pubs.
Already tried epom. They didn't seem to interested. I figure it this way. Any of the networks t hat\s passed up my traffic it's too bad for them. I'll be reaching almost 2 million banner impressions by the end of this month. I have had a lot of them tell me the alexa ranking isn't high enough. Okay, that makes sense. Let's rely on a site who's information is often 6 months to a year behind. Whatever their loss.

Source of traffic is all word of mouth believe it or not. There is some seo traffic. 90% of the traffic is U.S. traffic. 98% male. 75% 30years or older. I can break it down further if you need me too. I am changing my ad model though. I am cutting down the amount of ads per page from 3 to 2 to unclutter my pages and hopefully increase ctr and quality of clicks.

My alexa rankings are going down by a few thousand every day as alexa updates. The website is MyGay.net . CPC? What country traffic are you looking for? Remember most of my visitors are from tier 1 countries like USA,UK,Australia,Canada. I can geotarget the ads so your ads are only shown to the country you want the visitors for. Before we discus CPC, CPM or Per Day pricing can I see your website address? I also removed the ads from the chat rooms for now. Even though they clicked on the ads a lot it was worthless clicks from the chat room. I'm trying to get high quality clicks so they where not doing me much good for that.

I tried CPMfun but the ecpm is only about 10 cents per 1000. I am giving 7search Accessory Ads a shot. Seems you can pick your own keywords. I have centered in on a few that goes a long with my content that are about 40 cents a click. Lets see how it goes. I don't mind Mature ads as long as they are text links. I don't want to wave penis and ass in everyone's face. It seems the going rate is only about 10 cents ecpm. That's fine if it is but I focus on quality and targeted users instead of quantity that's going to bounce in 5 seconds. My site only has a 20% bounce rate and the average users surfs 10 pages.
