    Greetings!

I have been building a website for gamers and tech-geeks for some time now. I might say that my site is in Beta-state at the moment, logo is very bad at the moment and it will be replaced. Especially the forums aren't really working as I'd like them to work.

What do you think? About the functionality of the main page and about the graphics and color scheme of the website?

    Here is my website: http://fewmoretimes.com/

As you can see, there is still a lot of Lorem Ipsum there [IMG] Almost no content exists at the moment.

Also, I somehow managed to get bots to make spam topics there, need to figure out a way to stop them :D I don't like to advertise Viagra etc.

Very simple, and clean. I actually kinda like it. :)

Logo is nice, but I find it a little bit hard to read?

That's pretty darn good for a first website. I would recommend setting up captcha on your signup / comment forms. Also account verification by email. I'm more familiar with anti-spam plugins for wordpress than anything else though so you might want to do some searching around.

For your header, you might want to play with the coloring a little bit, the bottom of the title blends in with the background since the colors are both very dark, might want to do something to accentuate the title from the background a little bit. It's still perfectly readable though so I wouldn't call this a problem, just might look a little better with some tweaking.

Best of luck with your site!

    Thanks for your feedback!

I already have captcha enabled for signing up and commenting, though there are still spammers. Need to figure out a better way to prevent that spamming. Or maybe I should make a forum for viagra advertising only ;D Account verification by email.. Hmm.. I need to check that out.

The logo in the header will be redesigned almost from the scratch, that's the first reason I joined this community. Though, while I am here, I figured out that there is no reason why I shouldn't contribute in this community. I think that the text logo just doesn't work..

I didn't think it was bad, but the site would look better with something a bit brighter and contrasting from the background.
What is the site built on? Usually there is an option in any CMS for how account setups are handled, and whether verification by email is needed, like when you have to go to your inbox and click on the link to activate your account or to get a code to enter into the site.
