Spun content still works, but you will go lower in the google rankings.

Its not that hard to write an article, I work full time and do websites on the side but all my major sites that I run, I wrote all the content my self. If your in it for the long run then you have to be unique content

Copying content is NOT something you want to do. I have lost count of the amount of websites I have gotten shut down and de-indexed because they were copying my content. Thieves will be punished!

Shocking that you couldn't find someone qualified to write about legal topics for a whole dollar.

Copy unique content from magazine articles, how-to-books, and stuff like that, this world has hundreads of different languages (I speak Portuguese, Spanish and English) and different niches to explore
If you dont want to write or copy, you need to code a site that has some usefulness to visitors

I hearitly agree that spun content kills sites. If you are resorting to that then you are about to fail. Spend the money on good original content and on good products. That is the way to make it in this business. As Adam Ant once sang..."There is always room at the top!"

One thing to consider your site doesn't need a 1000 pages right away, you can slowly build it over time.

    Hi.

Forums give good cash but you need the traffic, the input from users, some moderators and ads that are super relevant. Not worth the hassle.

Oddly enough, video websites aren't too bad because they are meant to be copied. Youtube is owned by Google yet they insist that you copy their content. Find a niche within the video community (a type of dieting etc) then copy and paste the videos. Go through the comments and then cut and paste comments into paragraphs altering a few words en route. Use those as anchor texts within the pages and use your Adsense.

    Regards.

If you are looking for ideas, there is a saying that I like.

"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."

I like your quote. I think that creating a new model is where the wild-success is located. Facebook was new, Google was new, eBay was new, and Fiverr too. All were new concepts and now there are a lot of imitators. What's the new thing going to be?
