No bs here... and this is how I made did it so I am gonna share with my secrets with you.
Basically I have various sites that only have very few pages which I have ranked up for very specific keywords. The niches are not hard to rank up in and if you chose a domain name that matches your niche exactly, you will get to the top with minimal effort .

Basically, what I advise is that you have SEVERAL SMALL sites instead of a few big ones. These small sites require don't require as much effort to build, however they do require that you continue to do SEO on them often. If you a big site, such as a forum it might not need work after it starts booming but that is usually very hard.

    Super simple tips..
Hopefully, it will work for you :)

Another tip is... to sell ads DIRECTLY instead of Google Adsense. Use Google Adsense only if you cannot sell ads directly.

This may seem like common sense but it is actually super important. Don't click your own ads in Google Adsense. Google is smart and they will catch you. One of my friends would click on his own ad once a day and Google banned him.

He regrets it a lot. Do not make the same mistake :)

These small sites are exactly the ones Google is pushing down in the search results, your advice is a year or two out of date I'm afraid. Larger, regularly updated sites are the way forward now.

The domain name also isn't anywhere near important as it was.

If you want to make £100 a day you have to work for it, there is no easy way these days and I fully agree with Google's stance on "set and forget" type websites, it clears the way somewhat for the people putting the effort in rather than the types who build a site in a day.

Thanks for sharing. I"ve heard of this method..the only problem is it takes a ton of time and work, and the ongoing SEO is a really long tedious process. But if you have the time, why not go for it.

I completely agree with GregWR. This has long back gone. Today you need at least 100 page website or niche site to get good results.

I prefer niche sites... they tend to rank up higher than bigger sites.

This is my advice. The forum-esque niche is hard to crack. It used to be really popular building forums as they could generate very decent traffic. However sites like Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, Digg and I'm sure many others made creating forums redundant as people were and are able to connect to those they they would like to talk to and if you look at Reddit, they have every topic/niche that a forum could fill and they have the traffic to back those topics/niches up.

It's extremely competitive, and I'm not sure a new forum would be easy to start up; unless you did extreme advertising and if you picked a great niche.

I can't see this tip working personally. I own 2 or 3 big websites and they make plenty of money. They took a lot of work to start with but now run on auto pilot. Lots of little websites is A LOT more work. You are making far to much work for yourself to earn big money!

    I
I created a new forum about 6 months ago and found it VERY tricky to make into a success. I did it in the football forum market with a lot of competition but it is now becoming a success. They can earn a lot of money but only go into it if you are willing to put in A LOT of hard work

I'm with it 100% as I've had forums that I hardly did any promotion when I first launched and immediately started getting traffic and sales. As long as you put in work you can't go wrong there, especially in a sports market. What have you done to get visits and signups?

For forums I found the best way to get large traffic was through facebook and twitter. Build a good relationship with potential forum posters. Get a big following on those who you are interacting with on a regular basis and then post links to your forum.
