This was actually my first experience with PM spam. I know how to handle it next time How about removing that warning that doesn't even say the right infraction? I really didn't know the proper procedure for this.
The procedure is simple Just forward the pm to moderator...To see moderators check this link http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php Saad
General Chat is not the place for feedback about what's happening on this forum. If something happens here that is clearly out of line, you discuss it in Suggestion & Feedback. Considering most mods can't be asked to waste time ploughing through General Chat, this spammer would have gone unnoticed like that. Things that concern the running of this board should go in S&F. The others posting this got the same treatment as you.
If everyone posts about all the PM spam they get, you do realize the forums will be flooded... plus these guys get twice the attention eh?
Welcome back Col. You seems to have a welcome PM there. LOL I have received this type of PM's but I have just ignored it. He's/She's wasting his/her time from pming me. Bottomline don't PM me spammers. BTW is there a rule in DP that if you have a certain number of post you cannot PM someone here in DP? (just curious)
Ok give me ur email add so that I could add you in my spam list. j/k This spammer has a lot of time on their hand. Too bad they can't use their time on some other things that they will earn in decent way.
I don't think there is some rule like this but it must be. Some people registers here only for spreading some spam PMs. So, mods should think about it.
ummm I have a different spam from someone else I received today. But who on earth are the mods....... SOmeone just give me the name of a mod so I can forward on the PM
Mods can always be found by using the link http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php which shows up right above the list of members currently online.
