    If I didn't actually read the replies and come across this one I would have said the same thing.

    It updates VERY often, just not on the little bar that helps you sell ;)

    it is not possible to increase pr in 2 weeks r can be increased with quality link building of site and pr increase after the pr update be google and it happens 3-4 times a year and waiting for next pr update by google which will be soon.

    I hAVE BEEN WRITING ARTICLES FOR MY WEBSITE THAT I STARTED 4 MONTHS AGO.The first 3 months i wasted doing a few backlinks etc ,about 40 of them .Then i wrote 10 articles,it was same article just changed a bit and I submit it once a week ,now i have 300 backlinks with little effort.I think articles really help in google.My site was not in top 1000 a month ago and now in #122 spot. I agree PR isnt everything .

    well, this has probably been mentioned here... but anyhow: pr gets increased by getting links to your site. [how you do that is up to you. I'm sure this forum will give you plenty of ideas]
