Maybe their like their stock low or something. Keeps them from making serious money while google gets a good firm grip of the entire market.

Well, they still have a lot of bugs to work out...it's like gmail's been in "beta" for the longest time.

YP is still in beta and nobody knows just when they finally announce the real version. At that time they certainly will offer global publishing and advertising programs.

berumda, I'm not so sure. I suspect they're holding off internationally because they dont see the same possible markets there. Going international means they have to compete with google on another level since yahoo has a bigger market cap in usa than in eu (asia I dont know).

Nobody uses yahoo (except germans) in europe :p

They have given out indications through email time to time that they might release it to public soon.

So maybe... soon? I guess? We can only hope

They are likely to release YPN to public in phases during coming months. yahoo! has recently updated their Search Marketing Services panel for Yahoo advertisers. It is a matter of time...

I'm not sure if ypn has the same buzz as it had when it was first announced and began being used. I was really looking forward to a world-wide release (as I am in UK) but have generally lost interest as time goes on. But then again maybe thats what they wanted, to let the product speak for itself rather than offa hype.

    Who Knows ?

I dont think they will open for everybody like Google in the near future..
And that is not because of the bugs, if they really wanted to open...they would have fixed them...most of their advertisers are from US and few of foreign publishers could have high US traffic..so they just don't bother IMO

maybe they will release it soon but now they think about advert owners.in usa users always click ad's and they often buy or pay for something...

    YPN is still in beta.

Once they come out of Beta, they will extend the offer to other areas.

    Thanks

Though USA is the primary market, one can't ignore international market. It is huge, and emerging. Hope Yahoo! will be opening up to internation publishers soon.

One of the biggest reason I guess is that they can't get much advertiser to server for their publisher.

They just need more time and testing over their YPN system before ready for the global launch.

Don't agree, they had a lot of time to test it. They just don't sure in success (I think).
