    Hello,
    I have an CentOS server.
Well...it has php, mysql ...all installed and configured.

Can you tell me what settings do I have to do?
I want the server to allow mysql remote connections from all IPs but just for an username and hist databases.
    Thank you!

Well...the mysql server works...but with localhost...I want it so....but I have an application ...that need to connect at mysql server....and if I try...it doesn't work.

In the mysql access hosts list, add a wildcard or your Pc's IP address.

hope that you have a static IP rather than an asterisk for security reasons...

also assign it on a particular Database permission, do not assign a user permission on it...

use phpmyadmin, webmin or something similar db admin tools
