You hear all over that social media metrics are influencing Google's search results. After increasing the number of people who have me in their circles, I have started to see my articles climbing the ranks. Has anyone else seen this happen?
That's pretty normal, as it's an effect of Google's new authorship rank. If you've linked your blog with your G+ profile, there you have it. Here's a more detailed view on this aspect: http://www.seomoz.org/ugc/google-authorship-and-the-fast-track-to-better-rankings-a-case-study
Personally it doesnt matter if you have g+ installed or g+ uninstalled. On my part, i dont see any changes at all. Honestly speaking. But google mentioned it that sooner or later, the G+ will hit a major impact but for now, it doesnt effect that much.
G+ can get you traffic no doubt. But if you have a keyword which in Not in Top 50 in Google, and you share it on G+, you will find some effect and improvement in the ranking. Happened to me a lot of times. But if you are ranking on the 1st or 2nd page, then G+ won't help you like before as the competition their, is very high.
