i want to be a active member here but the speed of the website is very slow i think because of what it is becoming very time consuming. It was excellent with vbulletin but after switching to xenforo, it takes so much time to open the main page only... !! I know my internet connection don't have any problem but yes the dp loading speed has been slow with xenforo from begining. please make changes in the server and may be use a more bigger server for dp
But i am feeling this slowness from the time xenforo is introduced... I think its a bit heavy forum system.
I wasted far too much time reading your opening post about something that seems not worth mentioning. I've simply got to upgrade my speed reading skills. You do realize of course that you are on here complaining about a few seconds? (P.S. just in case you missed it, that was sarcasm.)
Analytics show on average pages load 2.5x faster for users than before. What browser and operating system are you using?
The loading time is way faster than it was before! Are you sure you don't have utorrent running or something.. This is the weirdest thread I've seen since DP changed to xenforo.
You made your opening post this morning and you got banned by this evening. So....is the site still too slow for you? I'd say that was rather quick.
Why does it matter to you? Only the admin and moderators would know about this. It's not our business why people get banned and unbanned.
You're absolutely correct, it's none of my business at all. But if the OP knows a trick on how to get unbanned then I'd be pleased if he'd share it with me, so that I can use it the *next* time I get banned.
Lolz.. if OP revealed the secret then surely within week you can see this type of service on Fiverr "I will unbanned your DP account in $5"
Though I wouldn't buy it as that would be unethical, I sure could use it. I got yet *another* warning only last night! Gee, could it be that...the mods are trying to tell me something? (maybe time to tone it down a tad?)
try Chrome this can help you...even I am using chrome then also sometimes not a particular day time facing this problem but at the end It works fast rest of the day..May be it's because our ISP really don't know about it.
Chrome is my default browser, but I've tried DP on Firefox, and IE as well and in all different browsers the site has been running faster than it was before all the changes.
While I never experienced slow speeds myself, I'm curious how things are now for users that were seeing it before? Made some backend changes (most notably, web traffic isn't being routed through the old load balancers any longer)... I think the load balancers may have been getting overloaded, so they are no longer in use.
