    Hello,

I have a website which is available on two languages.
On index.php i have a java script setup which is based on users browser settings, redirecting him to language 1 or language 2 index page.

My pagerank has changed from PR 6 to PR 5 for two index_language pages but index.php still has PR6.

All three pages had PR 6 for more than 3 years.

    Detailed link stats

Index.php had and has PR 6
Sold 4 links, one for PR 0 website, one for PR 4,one for PR 5 and oen for PR 6 website.
One link is for English website and the rest 3 for other languages websites.

I have sold two links on index_language1.php (English websites linking to two English websites)
One website has PR 4 and the other PR 5.

index_language2.php website has the same links as index.php
Sold 4 links, one for PR 0 website, one for PR 4,one for PR 5 and oen for PR 6 website.
One link is for English website and the rest 3 for other languages websites.

Time frame i sold the links - 1.5 months,PR has droped recently.

Can anyone please tell me if its something normal to happen ?

    I have these questions

1)Maybe all is because that one PR 0 link

2)I had to sell links in a longer time frame like in 4 months and not place them all at once ?

3)Did i had to not sell more than 2 links on each page

4)Is a partcular number of in links needed to earn PR 5 then PR 6 and should i link to a fixed number of websites only ?

    5) Maybe all is because Google has detected link brokerage company's html code on my website and "understood" that i am selling links ?

    Best Regards

Have you sold your link for bad neighborhood or banned site? That will affect your page rank...

Those index pages are php files not html but rarely it has anything to do with my situation.

Link out will not harm your PR only if the pages linked to your are prohibited or banned or hated by google. You shall check your backlinks, maybe the pages you linked to don't exist anymore.

that is the most rediculous thing i have ever heard of you have your info backwards dude everyone knows that its the sites that you link out to that can hurt your site because you have control over who you link to. You cannot be hurt by a bad or banned site linking to you because search engines know that you really dont have control over this

It does not affect your PR but if you linked in bad neighborhoods, might be. But always remember, we have different datacenter with different PRs.
