I just checked and found some unusual activity in link building. Someone is storming spam links within unreadable spun garbage contents from various domains (thousands if I may say) into "one" of my page. I don't know their purpose of doing this but they only targeting one inner page instead of homepage or any other pages. Yet those thousands are come with irrelevant anchor texts pointing into that page such as Prada, Viagra and much much more. This links are built on daily basis on "new" thousands of domain everyday and beyond of my control.

    - Have you ever face this issue?

    - Will it effect on one page or all over website authority?

    - What would you do if you were me?

    Hey there,

It really depends on your goal. If you didn't intentionally try and rank that inner page, that you should be fine. But, if you are currently trying to rank it, then fast build up of crappy links will make it dance around alot... as well as ruin your chances at ranking that page.

Don't worry so much about that page affecting the rest of your site, it wont. You'll be fine, just be glad it wasn't your home domain, and just your inner page. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your help. I must say I never intend to involve on such a spam link building like that. There is someone practicing on link bombing without my acknowledge. As I said I do not know their real intention and it's beyond my control since I don't know who is doing this anyway.

One non-performing webpage within your site can affect your entire webpage so I suggest you try and find out where these links are coming from. Google has come up with the Disavow tool which lets you get rid of negative links to your site. You might consider using that.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
