I want to send my resume to a database of 30,000 email addresses.

I have to send my resume to an employer database of 30,000 emails just once.

Can anyone advise me something in this regard?

I am actually on job search in UAE. So I have to send my resume to a number of employees even if it is considered as a spam....

 

Perhaps start with a smaller subset, wait and see if you get replies, if not, then continue with the next small group. Sending out 30,000 emails at once is not a bright idea.

 

@browntown - I have tried sending emails by a list of 200 or 500 email addresses a day but it would take around 2 months to send to 30,000 email ids.....
and by the way i received no reply....

 

If you tried to send that many emails at once you will possibly be black banned. Send them in very small batches over a long period of time. If you are looking for a job and you get one from your first or second send you won't have to send any more.

 

The goal is to get a job, not to complete the task of sending out emails. How long it takes to send out 30,000 emails is irrelevant.

As far as not getting a job after sending out some already, that probably speaks to the merits, or lack thereof, of sending out your resume randomly to 30,000 email addresses.

 

The only problem is, if you don't have permission to do it, you'll be a spammer which is technically illegal. Unless those people gave you permission to do it, then you can't do it. Also how would you deal with all the responses? Seems like a waste of time to me.

I'd be curious to know what the content of your email is. It could be the reason you are not getting responses is you are sending the wrong message. Can you give us an overview of what you are saying, or if you prefer, you can send it to me in a private conversation.

Many times it is not the volume of emails, it is the message.

 

For jod hunting, you can send the resume by small numbers of emails day by day. You can find a suitable one without sending too many many emails. Good luck

 

As it was suggested, do not send them in huge bulk quantities - as 50% of them will end up in a spambox. Send 20-30 at a time. It will take you a looooong time to send all of them, but there's nothing you can do, if you do not want your IPs to be blacklisted.

 

Just use gmail or amazon SES. With email you have a 500 per day limit, and there is a trick to use mail merge to make it really easy.
