    Hello fellow bros and sisters,

I am from Malaysia. I've registered for an AdSense account a week ago, just curious how long does Google take to approve my application? Any ways to make it faster?
I've created my website just for the purpose for AdSense. (2 weeks old website)
    Thanks a lot:))

    Regards,
    Kenny

Kenny, I think the website has to be atleast 6 months old. check this http://support.google.com/adsense/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=9724 thread

Make sure that you write articles, re-apply when you hit 40 of them. They have to be regular (at least 3 per week) and well SEO'd. They will not approve your application now. It takes one to two days when you meet the conditions.

Whilst this is kind of good advice, however it's not a rule and 'doktu' unless you work/worked for google when you wrote "They will not approve your application now" you are worrying people without good cause. Unless you are working for google it's best not to claim things like that. You can get approved with far less content and I doubt Google cares less about the SEO (Others may think otherwise but I doubt they evaluate each page, and when I applied many years back I'd not even heard of SEO as will many others currently applying) and the regularity. This might apply to blogs but does that mean someone who builds a much higher quality 10 page normal html can't get approval? Of course they can! They are interested in quality first and foremost, 10 pages of good quality content will beat 40 pages of crap content every time.
Google has pages and pages to read on 'site quality guidelines' and as long as your site complies with these then you are fine. I think the main problem you have will be the 6 month rule. Applications can take two days, or 2-6 weeks depending on volume, country, current review process etc. They say 2-3 days on the site, but I've had clients who it's taken much longer.

Hi adsenseplr, I'm glad you have brought some facts right. Now go back to the dofollow on adsense and see my approvals. For the OPs, do not be scared, just do the things right. And know what you do well, be authority in what you do. I do more than giving advise here, I offer lessons on how to make your work acceptable in adsense, plus more other fields. Adsenseplr, do not reply to me, let's concentrate on the OP.
