Backup Your Site To Dropbox

    What if your web hosting does not provide R1Soft for backup, how do you keep a backup? and where to save it?. We have a solution with mybackupbox service.
    What does mybackupbox provide?

    It allows you to backup a hole website or some files up to your needs, you can even move a website to a hole new server. As it gives you options where to backup your files Dropbox, Google drive, Microsoft Skydrive, and other services

    How to use mybackupbox ?

    Will guide you how to register and use it, even it is so easy to navigate and use the site i thought we might show you the steps. So let us begin.

    Step 1

    We are going to register, if you already have an account, you need to login from the same box.
    You will get Backup Box account verification to confirm your email address

    Step 2

    We will backup a site, we just need to select the second option and hit continue button

    Step 3

    We need to backup our site on recurring basis, so i will go for it. Then hit Done button

    Step 4

    Now we will connect our site to mybackupbox via FTP.

    Step 5

    Now enter your site FTP account to connect from

    It will Authorize the connection

    Step 6

    It will show your site root files ( you can navigate ), now we need to choose where to transfer the file to

    You can totally select which provider you want to transfer the files to, even to new server usting also FTP. In my case want to transfer the files to dropbox

    Now Allow the connection

    Step 7

    As well you can navigate among your folders in dropbox. Then hit transfer now to start the process.

    Double check, then Confirm

    Set back and relax till it finish

    I was using CentOS 5.X, and tested with CentOS 6. Also, it will work with any platform

    This service seems to be very useful. Free dropbox backup, why not.
