After Google Update Of Jan 2013..... Is Directory Submission Dead?

Sounds about right. I doubt Google would dismiss every directory since DMOZ is a directory.

 

Does anyone actually use this directories?? Other than for SEO though....maybe they should be dead.

 

Ive actually found that more people are starting to use directories to find what they're looking for (more than before). Google results are not as good as they used to be

many people like a free directory submission.
but some people chose to reciprocal way do you know what is reciprocal?

 

Reciprocal or reciprocating, is returning the favor. No other cost or benefit other than agreeing to link back to each other.

 

Not after the recent Google update but since a long time Directory Submission doesn't make much traffic in increasing traffic. No matter the high PR directories still may be the good link building resource.
