    Not worth to save a few pennies and suffer premature aging later...I'd say.
    I'd rather pay abit more and get more peace of mind.
    But, I wonder if Registerfly is so bad, how come people still buy domains from them at this very moment? I cant understand that, but I think they have definitely lost some business for sure. Havent used them, and wont because of all threads like this...it has influenced me for sure.

    I recently registed 3 .info domains. It's because they're so cheap and you can pay by paypal. I also don't intend to hold on to the domains for a year, and so renewing won't be a problem.
    But the site is really slow though, and usally times out.

    They used to be good, but it's been a year or so that they've gone seriously down hill. I just started with namecheap yesterday and it is a TON better. Hopefully I can get my domains transferred out of registerfly without too much problem, but I seriously doubt that will be the case. :(

    If you can figure out where to get the authorization code you will need, please let me know where you found it. :)

    I found a blog by someone that said it was on the page where you update domain contact info. I couldn't find anything labeled "EPP Code" (or whatever the actual term is), but I tried using the reference # listed in the contact where the protectfly info is listed. Not sure if it will work - but am trying it anyway.

    Me too.

    The sites slow and complicated and they don't reply to support tickets. I hate it but I can't even figure out how to leave.

    If you click on the "logged in" at the very top of the page it will open a box that asks if you want to log out :)

    They are a joke.

    Anyone know how to get EPP codes to transfer from them to NameCheap..

    Registerfly hide the codes so you cant leave them im sure

    Registerfly is the WORST registrar EVER. the only thing good about them is the .75 infos. They were my first registrar but I should have done more research because they SUCK ASS, ProtectFly NEVER works, they ALWAYS park my domains/change the nameservers to their sedo so they get clicks even when I don't do anything, they had the worst hosting plan ever that I bought it had 1 database that broke and I couldn't fix it or get a new one and then they billed me for a 2nd month where there is no cancel option, NEVER use them for anything other than getting .75 infos.

    protectfly always work here and no problems with dsn servers .... I always assign my own DNS when registering domain so you are kind of bashing ... some have different experience I guess.....

    I completely agree - It's hard to imagine a worse registrar. Their software is faulty and doesn't work half the time. They send out promotions codes which often don't work. The worse part of Registerfly is their so-called customer support. You can spend over an hour waiting for someone on the phone, their "live support" has an equal wait. It has taken over a week to get replies to a support ticket - which usually doesn't answer your question and is often marked (ticket closed, do not resubmit). I never had contact with anyone who wasn't rude.

    They are also known to overcharge, and if you file a chargeback (after weeks of failing to have it corrected) they will lock all your domains and demand $150 fee to reinstate your account (which means you can't transfer out, or make any changes to your domains).

    I guess if you were registering a lot of .info domains you could save some money, but unless you value your time at 50 cents an hour, you'll lose money even if they gave the domains away for free.

    Algo : If anyone wants to buy cheapo junk, then regfly is the way to go...else, goto Namecheap

    <?php

    $cheapo_junk = $_POST[option];

    if $cheapo_junk==1
    header("Location: http://www.registerfly.com"); // You will regret

    else
    header("Location: http://www.namecheap.com"); // It's worth it

    exit;
    ?>

    Code (markup):
