What Caused The Website Get High Pr

    Why do you want high PR? So you can sell links...?
    Wouldn't you rather be working on SERP's and getting traffic?
    The answer to your question would be to have high PR sites linking to yours.

    probably everyone knows that the PR or PageRank is a Google phenomenon, I just want my website to be important in Google's eye,

    but to sell links ...? hhmm.. maybe.. :p

    High PR won't make it important. This is a number easy to manipulate and is changing often (internal PR). Constants are things like - clean on page SEO, natural (does anyone actually understand what that is these days?) links, etc, to build up trust with Google.

    Spam and manipulate = end up with lack of trust.

    So, that link selling will end up pointless (and just another reason for Google not to trust you).

    You can't see Google's Domain Authority, unlike with PR, however SEOmoz.org takes a good guess at it. Read up more here and the penny might finally drop.
